An Evening With Feature Artist: Tamika Hogan

This April, join celebrated Margaret River painter Tamika Hogan at Voyager Estate, for a special evening featuring her stunning art, accompanied by the soulful sounds of singer-songwriter, Jinna Yang.

Guests will have the opportunity to hear from Tamika, delving into her artistic practice, while sipping on delicious wine and savouring delectable canapés. Alongside Tamika will be the immensely talented Jinna, ready to captivate with her powerful jazz vocals and stripped-back, acoustic covers and originals.

Tamika's artwork will be on display daily in the Cellar Door from 30th March to 12th May. Visit us 10am – 5pm, Monday through Sunday.

 

About the artists:

TAMIKA HOGAN/

Tamika Hogan is a self-taught painter specialising in land and seascapes. She is renowned for her large-scale depictions of the South West region, and in particular, her talent for capturing the distinctive coastal vegetation native to Western Australia. As both a full-time artist and parent, she often explores the coast with her three-year-old son, gathering inspiration and reference material, then pouring that inspiration onto canvas in the studio, with an acute eye for detail and a masterful command of colour.

Jinna Yang is an American singer-songwriter residing in Margaret River. Influenced by jazz, blues and soul, Jinna captivates with soulful originals and unique covers on the piano, accompanied by raw, powerful vocals and a knack for live improvisation.
