This summer, join us in the tranquil surrounds of the Voyager Estate gardens for Djilba: A Moment in Time – a captivating performance from acclaimed choreographer, Floeur Alder, in collaboration with sculptor and writer, Virginia Ward.


Inspired by the Rainbow Coast in Western Australia’s Great Southern region, the work intertwines dance, poetry, sound and projection to celebrate Djilba – the Noongar season of transition and emergence.


Event Schedule

  • 5pm – Gates open
  • 5.30pm – Pre-performance entertainment by Nicky Sandover 
  • 7.00pm – Welcome and introduction
  • 7.30pm – Djilba: A Moment in Time performance
  • 8.15pm – Event conclusion

Ticket holders are invited to attend from gate opening to establish their picnic setting, enjoy the grounds of Voyager Estate and pre-performance entertainment. 

Wine and beverage bar will be open until 7.15pm, closing before the start of the performance. 


Tickets

  • Adult – $40 per person
  • Concession – $30 per person
  • Child – $20 per person
  • Family (2 adults + 2 children) – $100 
Ticket price includes entry and performance. 


Food & Beverage

BYO food and picnic setting. Low chairs preferred. 

Please note, there will be no food vendors on site. We invite you to pre-purchase picnic hampers through our friends at Charcuterie Margaret River.

Wine and beverage bar available (strictly no BYO alcohol). 


Dance workshops with Floeur Alder

Floeur Alder is working with Arts Margaret River to present two dance workshops on Tuesday 13th January. Adults and children from ages 10+ are invited to join Floeur in a fun and friendly environment to explore new forms of motion and find flexibility at your level. Basic dance experience required. EVENT CANCELLATION POLICY

This cancellation policy is unique to the Djilba: A Moment In Time event and overrides other booking policies outlined by Voyager Estate. 

Voyager Estate reserves the right to cancel this event at any time, particularly in the instance of unsuitable or unsafe weather conditions. Should cancellation be necessary a full refund will be provided. 

Ticket amendments and cancellations by the purchaser may be amended up to 48 hours prior to the event start by contacting Voyager Estate on 08 9757 6354. 

Within 48 hours of the event start, ticket amendments and cancellations will not be accepted or refunded, nor in the event of a no-show.
